The project “Safeguarding and Protecting Bluefin Tuna in the Principality of Monaco” has as main objective to provide the scientific community with data and information on the behavior of bluefin tuna. The project will be carried out in cooperation with the Yacht Club of Monaco, the Albert 2 Foundation of Monaco, the Maritime Affairs Directorate, the Monaco Environment Directorate.

Kindly note, that a marking tournament is scheduled for the month of July 2019 directly from the Yacht Club of Monaco the period of 26/27/28 2019.

The Monaco Fishing Federation aims to protect our ocean and is willing to contribute to scientific knowledge on the Atlantic Bluefin tuna with a “catch-tag and release” campaign.
