The Alekos Fassianos Estate is a non-profit civil company founded in 2020 by Alekos Fassianos and his family. It is dedicated to collecting, preserving, protecting, defending by all legal means, exhibiting and interpreting the oeuvre of Alekos Fassianos.The Estate operates on a national and international level and has three mainobjectives: to manage the artist’s legacy and museum, to facilitate research into his oeuvre and to make his work more accessible to artists, researchers, curators and the public.
With an interdisciplinary approach, the estate will organise temporary exhibitions as well as academic activities and projects in collaboration with other institutions and organisations. Through its exhibition and educational programs, the estate aspires to promote the study of Alekos Fassianos work and explore lines of research linked to his work and to contemporary art. The Estate is housed at the Alekos Fassianos Museum. The Alekos Fassianos Museum will launch on the 26th of April 2023.
The idea was to renovate the existing family building located in Athens with the vision to house the Alekos Fassianos Collection. Our mission is to bring together communities, to inspire the younger generation and to spread the power of optimism and personal development through art.
