Dear Members,
The Hellenic Community of Monaco in cooperation with VIlla Paloma is organizing a private visit to the new exhibition “Pier Paolo Calzolari – Casa ideale” for the members of the Community,
This visit will be free and will take place in English.
The exhibition at Villa Paloma brings together works produced between the end of the 1960s and 2014 and allows you to discover the poetic universe of Pier Paolo Calzolari. This artist associated with Arte Povera, an Italian artistic movement of the 60s and 70s which is characterized by the use of “poor” materials. To create his “installation works” which question the limits of contemporary art, Calzolari uses organic materials such as tobacco leaves, fire or frost.
Interested members are kindly requested to RSVP by January 10th, the latest.
