The Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, rooted in the historic powerboat meetings held by the Yacht Club de Monaco (YCM), has evolved into a significant event focused on sustainability and energy innovation. In response to the growing emphasis on sustainable maritime practices, the Yacht Club de Monaco transformed these traditional powerboat meetings into a competition that highlights the latest advancements in energy-efficient technologies.

This year’s event was further distinguished by the introduction of the “Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Sustainable Maritime Technology Award.” This award, dedicated to recognizing and supporting outstanding initiatives from universities, comes with a grant from the Foundation.

Our Greek team from NTUA has a proud history of success at this event, and their victory this year reinforces their commitment to excellence and innovation in sustainable maritime technology.
